NEW TERM BEGINS SEPTEMBER 1ST
Ralphs is requiring that all registered shoppers re-enroll their new Ralphs rewards Card in the Community Contribution Program. You can re-enroll in a few simple steps:
Visit “http://www.ralphs.com/ccprogram.htm” to register your card.
You will need to know your Ralphs rewards Card number. If you don’t know your number (or can’t read it off the back of your card) you can call the hotline at 800-660-9003.

Each time you shop, swipe your Ralphs rewards Card and a portion of your grocery dollars will automatically go to the school. Thank you for your continued support!

VONS & Pavilions will be donating 10% of your grocery purchases of participating products to Mar Vista School every time you shop
August 6th through September 9th.
The top 250 schools will win a $1,000 bonus!
A) Look for the Yellow School Bus (see logo above) on participating products at the store. There are over 3,000 products to choose from in this 10% Back to School promotion!
B) Be sure to use your Vons Club Card at the register and a 10% contribution will go to support Mar Vista School. If you are already registered with eScrip, your contribution will be automatically donated.
C) If you are not registered with eScrip, either register your card with the scrip coordinator (see below) or turn in your register tapes with redemption codes to the scrip coordinator. Your specially printed register tapes will start to print out on September 12th and continue through October 6th. Be sure to turn in your register tapes before October 12th!

The Gift Wrap Sale Starts September 8th!!
Our annual Mar Vista School gift wrap sale is coming soon!
Please encourage your family, friends and co-workers to purchase the high quality wrapping paper, gifts and chocolates from your catalogs.
Remember, our school earns 50% of the sale price of every item sold. Last year this fund raiser earned over $21,000, which helped support many extra programs at Mar Vista such as computer lab, art and music programs, technology instructors, playground improvements and more!
In addition, all children receive prizes for submitting orders of any size. Orders and prizes will be delivered to the school mid November
(right before Thanksgiving)
You can also support this fundraiser by ordering online @ www.innisbrook.com. You must register your child first by providing your child's full first and last name, grade and
our school number which is: 122225.

PHON-A-THON
Calling All Pledges!
Help ring in the new school year!The 21st Annual MVSEG Phon-a-Thon
Wednesday Sept. 17th and
Thursday Sept. 18th
6:00pm – 8:30pm

This year, the MVSEG (Mar Vista School Enrichment Group) is challenged to raise $244,810 to fund the enrichment programs that are planned for the year.
These funds support more than 12 programs that are 100% dedicated to enriching our children’s lives.
These programs, which include art, music, computers, science, PE and field trips, provide our children with countless hours of hands-on learning experiences that go above and beyond any textbook.
Without the support of parents and the community, these programs will not happen.
The Phon-a-Thon is a critical part of our annual fundraising and is expected to generate $70,000 of the funds needed.
